Pictures from 2016 West Coast Crosley Club Meet, Buellton CA


Another West Coast Crosley Club annual meet has come and gone. An assortment of Crosley faithful gathered in Buellton, California for a two day meet, October 8-9.  Featured were all the usual WCCC Annual Meet events: swap meet, car show, club dinner, and raffle.  We reprised last year's successful 60-mile Crosley Cruise on Sunday, and member Mike Blackburn led the way to the Buellton Museum of Petroliana on Saturday afternoon.

2016 MEET: OCTOBER 8-9 in BUELLTON CALIFORNIA!


West Coast Crosley Club – Big Two-Day Meet: 
October 8-9, 2016 Buellton, CA.

SCHEDULE of EVENTS

Meet Hotel
Pea Soup Andersons Inn, Buellton


We'll warm up with an informal potluck at the Meet Hotel Gazebo on Friday, October 7, 2016.  Starts around 5PM, going until it’s over. Please bring some snacks to share, and BYOB.

Saturday, October 8, 2016

The 2016 West Coast Crosley Club Meet officially kicks off at 9AM at River View Park.

9:00 AM: Crosley Car Show, Crosley Cars and Parts Swap Meet, and Crosley Store open.

Service Motors will be on hand with their 70 foot trailer of Crosley parts!

NOON: Lunch is available to those who pre-ordered. This year we are going to try a Make-it-Yourself Sandwich Bar: Meat, Cheeses, Bread, Greens, Condiments, etc.

After Lunch: Giant Raffle! This is our biggest annual fundraiser for the club - and a chance to get some great stuff!

2:30 PM: (Optional) Mike Blackburn will lead a tour to the Mendenhall Museum of Petroliana. An easy drive from the Park; $10.00 admission fee is required. This is a Robin and Fred Dunner production!

3:30 PM: Car Show and Crosley Store close; no official activities until 6PM.

6:00 PM: Official Club Banquet and Business Meeting; At Firestone-Walker Taproom – Al Pastor and Chicken Tacos with rice, guacamole, quesadillas, and all the fixings.

9:00 AM: Club breakfast at Ellen’s Danish Pancake House.

10:00 AM: Crosley Cruise leaves from the Meet hotel.  We will make a leisurely tour through the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley countryside surrounding Buellton and Solvang, including a visit to the La Purisima Mission in Lompoc.  Plenty of stops for sightseeing and leg stretching, and a 45-minute stop for lunch in Los Alamos.  Total trip will take 3-4 hours and cover about 60 miles.  Roads and speeds will be Crosley-friendly.
